10/25    Christmas Deliver Deadline is getting close.   Please get your orders in soon to make sure you get your watches in time.   Cut off for sure Christmas delivery is November 10th, after that EMS starts slowing down.  We can can get the watches to EMS ontime but EMS can not handle the increased number of packages at this time.

DEEPSEA - We have had several people buy our Deepsea and then let us know it has a service problem, we send them a replacement at once and then they return the Deepsea to us and we can tell the returned watch is NOT THE WATCH WE SELL, its from another seller.   Not the same movement or bezel and the inside of the watch is different and does not fit our movements.   Because of this we must have the watch first before we can send a new replacement out.    We have received 14  of these in the past few months and the cost to us is very high.    Thanks for your understanding in this matter.

07/21    Its taking a little longer then normal to get watches ready for shipping to our customers.  Over the past couple months   the quality of replica watches have gone down.  The factories are using lots of teenager labor and they are being paid by how many they put together.  We are not like the other sites selling replicas where they go buy one and ship it to the customer. We get the watch, check it out very close and ship it only when we are happy with the quality.  Over the past couple months we have not been able to accept many of the watches that were made and we had to have them made over agian and sometimes 3 or 4 times to get one that will pass the quality that we sell. We are your eyes here in China and our eyes are trained to see things you would never notice. We will not send out a watch that we are not pleased with.  Sometimes this takes a little longer but one thing for sure, it will be the best when its shipped.  Its funny, the watches we reject are put in the sellers display and sold to the next person.  Usually the people buying these are from other sites. We saw a girl from another site that is very popular bbuy 3 of the watches we rejected.  I wonder if she noticed the date not changing on one of them ?????

06/02   NEWS     Can you believe this ...  A Chinese company is trying to register the name watchcartel.cn    watchcartel.com.cn  so they can copy our site.  This is normal for the Chinese, if they find something that is getting business they will do everything they can to copy the success.  We have operated the site with the name watchcartel for 7 yrs now which is very rare for a replica site to operate this long without being shut down.  Most replica sites are shut down in months because of complaints etc.  We run a clean operation and sell quality merchandise and most of all we sell REAL SWISS Movements in our Swiss watches.   Soon it will be time for us to retire our name and continue to sell our quality replicas under a different site name.  There is already one site that tried to copy our site and and steel our orders making people think the site was ours.  When we do change the name we will notify everyone of our new store.

REPLICA MARKET - it is gettting harder and harder to get quality replicas.  When we buy we do not take everything they sell, we pick and choose our products.  Sometimes when we have a watch made for a customer we have to have it made 3 or 4 times until they product the quality we want.  This takes time and sometimes it takes a little longer to get your watch shipped out.  Keep in mind these delays mean that we are watching quality for you , we are not going to ship you a watch unless we are happy with it.  Especiall now many new people are being hired by the mfgs because school is out.  Many mfgs hire school kids to make the watches and they are paid by how many they make so we have to watch even closer now to make sure the quality is there, faces on straight, correct movements and no finger prints on the inside of the crystal.   At watchcartel, we do the looking for you!  Many other sites just get the watch and send it to you with no experienced person checking them.  Our staff is experienced and cares.  Sometimes we make mistakes buts we stand by our products and do what is necessary to solve any problems.  Thanks to all of you for being so loyal to us.

03/29   NEWS:  For the past month its been very hard to get watches at the watch market.  Customs agents from local dept and also from Bejing have been at the watch market to enforce the sale of the replica watches. The past 2 years have been hard but the past month has been the hardest.  This has affected the time it takes to make our watches. What used to take a day now takes 10 days sometimes and can be longer at times.  We always fill the orders but there have been some delays because of the customs police.    This customs problem has put lots of replica mfgs out of business or slowed their business down by 75%.    This will result in higher prices for replica watches in the future.  New york has already see their supply of replicas almost stop.  We hope this problem will solve itself soon and we will keep you posted.    We always work to ship as soon as possible.

01/05    Vapor Under Crystal - We had a customer write us about vapor under his crystal after taking a shower.  First, you should never wear any watch no matter how expensive the watch is and how waterproof it is.  The only reason to wear a watch in the shower is to collect soap scum.
Take it off and save it some misery and increase the lifespan of the seals.   Vapor inside the watch  can happen to even the best waterproof watch, because of the air humidity inside the watch. Expands and decreases under high and low temperatures.  If your stem is not screwed in , this can cause the problem too.   We had a customer write a month  ago saying that after washing his his hands, he noticed the crown on his Daytona wasn't screwed all the way in.  Then I did pretty much the same thing with my Explorer II a week or so later. I took a shower and afterwards noticed my crown wasn't screwed all the way in. I immediately turned the watch crown side down and put it under a hair dryer for a few minutes. Then I left the crown in the unthreaded position for a few hours. That was about a month ago, and I've experienced no problems.  Best thing to do is NEVER GET ANY WATCH WET and NEVER take a shower wearing your watch.

12/26    BEWARE - Many sites are now advertising the Eta 3135  movements in their Swiss Grade watches.  This is NOT a REAL SWISS Eta Movement, its the low cost Chinese copy movement and not anything close to the quality of a Real Eta movement.

12/13     Shipping (EMS EXPRESS) from China has slowed down because of the Holidays.  We feel good about everything that has  shipped so far will arrive in time for Christmas.  Starting today 12/13  its questionable ?  EMS is taking the packages, entering  tracking data and sending all the packages to Hong Kong to go out on a plane ... they are backed up and do not have enough space on the planes for all packages so many packages are in Que to get on the plane.  Sounds crazy but this is China. We are watching and tracking every single package twice daily.   This Shipping slow down not only effects us but every other company using EMS.

12/01   "Larger Size Rolex"   Because of requests for larger size Rolex Watches, we started making a 42mm Submariner. This size watch is just a little larger then the real Submariner.  The responce has been so good and everyone loves their 42mm Subs, we decided to make the Daytona in a 42mm size also.  This week we introduced the  first 2010 Rose Gold Daytona in 42mm.  We just received the cases for the Stainless Steel Daytona and we will have them available on the site within a couple days.  The look and feel is far superior to the standard Daytona.  This is in the same quality class as our Deepsea and mfg  by us. 

11/23   *SPECIAL REPORT*  The Swiss Eta-2836-2 Real Movement is getting harder and harder to buy. A year ago Swatch stopped selling their Eta movements to outside companies including Omega and other top brands. The other top brands have switched to the "Sellita SW 220-1 movement which is exactly the same as the Swiss Eta-2836" Sellita has been working with Swiss Eta movements for many years and they are a Swiss company You can find more information on their Swiss movements at  http://www.sw220.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=25&Itemid=22&lang=en    This movement is something we are going to have to get used to because in the near future, this movement will be the only one available.  Please note that Swiss Eta-2836 movements will still always be available but they will be re-conditioned or udes movements and not 100% new.  Our experience with used movements tell us they have problems.  Sites that used to use real Eta movement that are using Chinese copies now used to use the used eta movements 2824 and had problems too.   As of right now I am still able to buy New Eta-2836 movements but I was told in the near future, they may not be available and or they might double in price because of the demand for them.   We will never sub a Sellita movement for a Swiss Eta-2836 when we sell you a Eta-2836 watch.  If we are ever forced to switch, you will know because will will tell you on the web page of the watch your buying.  We will never try to fool you at Watchcartel!

11/21   Our server was hit with a DDOS ATTACK today and our site was down for several hours.  We think the problem is solved for now.  If our site goes down, just remember we are working hard to get it back up.  You can always reach our email or call us on the phone .  Thanks

11/21    We are starting to see a big trend in poor quality watches. We are haveing to spend more time at the market and making sure we buy the quality we want.  Seems the mfgs have hired lots of extra help for the busy holiday time and they are not experienced and being that they are paid on how many they put together, we are finding many problems, crystal put on in wrong position, wrong bands attacthed to the watches, no sapphire crystal however there is a sapphire sticker on the crystal.  These are things that make it hard for sellers that drop ship their watches, they can see these problems.  We pick out every watch ourselves and check it, many many times we have to have them made over.  I thing this poor quality trend will go on for a few months.   It makes our work harder because of the number of watches we have to have re-made again.  Just remember, at Watchcartel, we are you eyes and we try our best to deliver only the best to you.

11/10   *SPECIAL REPORT*  Several Rolex mfg have purchased Submariner bands that have mistakes on them. The printing on the underside  says  SWIIS MADE   and some other mistakes .. they also have some that have SWISS MADE spelled in a foreign language and not english so the letters mean nothing.  As far as the mfgs go, they may never notice this and when they do they will not care and of course they will use them until they run out. The Chinese will not waste or throw away anything.  These are little hard to see mistakes and one got past us but we are aware of it now and correcting and catching that.    Other sellers that drop ship will not have the pleasure of finding this before their items go out.  We expect this problem to go on for 6 months when they will order a new batch of bands.  We are using a newer style of band to replace these with and this next week we are ordering ourself new bands with correct printing.    ( We just found out this is a New company that made them for everyone and everyone bought because they were much cheaper )  This is going to be a wide spread problem for Rolex replica makers )   We will report more on this later.  The bands are Submariner Bands Old Style. We are checking other style bands for this also. 

11/10  It is taking us a little longer on Swiss Made watches now because we are having several of them made over because of little issues. The factories are using some extra help because of the Holiday Orders  and are putting them together too fast. They have hired school kids to help.  This is a problem because they dont put things on straight or them miss something. We check every watch, if its not right we have them remake it for us. This can take a few exra days.  We dont like this delay but for us to ship the very best possible, we have to make shre every watch is to our quality.  Thanks for your understanding.

Just thought you would like to know that out of the 8 Swiss Grade watches we have received for repair, only 1 watch had a Real Swiss Eta Movement in it. The watch that had the REAL Movement was purchased on the internet 5 yrs ago from an unknown site.  The last Swiss Grade we serviced was 3 months old and the customer paid $500 for it including shipping (The watch was purchased from a well known site that was recomended in a forum - It was a Chinese Swiss Copy Movement and not a REAL SWISS ETA)  When we receive a so called Swiss Grade Watch for repair, if its  not a real Swiss Movement we do not charge the Swiss Grade Repair Price but we charge the non-Swiss price for repair.

This is good for you to know, even the forums can point you in the wrong direction.  As most of you know, most forums are run by the sites they recommend or their so called Trusted Sellers.  We are proud of the watches we sell and we are one of the Very Few that sell a REAL SWISS Eta-2836-2 Movement.

CUSTOMS POLICE - China is stepping up inspection of outgoing packages. There is not a problem in getting packages out but it has caused delays of 2 - 4 days because of their backlog.  This is due to security for the Asian Games to be held in Guangzhou China soon.   The USA also said they are stepping up inspection of bags and electronics comming into the USA.  So far we have only lost 2 watches to Customs in the past 2 years.  Our policy, if your order is lost to Customs, we will replace and send out another order to you.  When you order from us, we make sure you get it no matter what.

CHRISTMAS ORDERS - EMS gets very very slow at Christmas time starting around Dec 7th - Please order early and avoid the delays - We are cutting Christmas Delivery off on Dec 5th just to be safe. You can still order after that time and a good chance you will get in time for Christmas but we can not always be sure.

EMS shipping has been a little slower the past couple weeks because of the trade fair in our city.  This is the Canton Fair and  one of the largest in the world.  EMS receives many packages during this time and customs is delayed because of this huge increase of packages.  The trade Fair will be over in 8 more days and then shipping will clear up.

QUALITY - Over the past year we have seen the quality of watches go up however the quality of craftsmanship has gone down. Most of the replicas are put together by young kids and they are paid per watch that they put together.  We have to look at every watch much closer now and many times we have to have them made all over again to get the quality we want.  This seems to be trun in every model and I have hired another girl to also check each watch after my normal girl checks them.  I personally check as many as I can but when I am out of town, its hard for me to do.  I trust my girls but to be honest, they have messed up before.  I am very strict when it comes to quality and my girls know that.

Many new IWC have hit the market.  We are looking at them and the quality and so far they look good but the movements in them are not up to par, noisy and a cheap Chinese movement.  We are looking for the ones with good movements and we will let you know what we find. Its such a shame to have a good looking watch and find a poor movement in it.

NEW DATONA REPLACEMENT BANDS AVAILABLE SOON - We have always been on the search for a Higher Quality Leather Bands and we finally found a company to mfg these for us.   These will soon be available

Shortage on 7750 movements - There is a shortage of the good 7750 movements for the Daytona's.  We have several on special now and once these are sold out, it may be several weeks before the Swiss Grade Daytona's are available again.

WATCH FORUMS - We always keep an eye out on the news in the replica forums.  Most of the information you read i the forums is geared to drive your purchases to  their so called "Trusted Site Dealers"   It's very easy to see what they are trying to do and I am sure most of you have figured out.   We also read about some sellers putting  "Genuine Rolex Parts" in their so called custom submariners.  First off, Rolex does not sell parts to their watches. If you want a new bezel, you have to take it to Rolex and they will put it on. Same with bands and other parts.  Same with Rolex boxes, there are no ORIGINAL BOXES being sold, Rolex guards these boxes and to get a replacement you have to prove you purchased the watch, have a paper trail of receipts and maybe then you will get a Genuine Box. 

I can goto the watch market in China and buy Genuine Rolex Bezels, boxes and bands.   The sellers will tell you ther are ORIGINAL GENUINE PARTS.  Maybe these sellers believe what they are told by these sellers.  The truth is, they are copies just like everything else in China.   A REAL ROLEX BEZEL would cost about $250  , I am sure these sellers are going to put that on a watch they sell for $149.00 ..    They also say  their watches, the original Rolex stem will fit it, not a problem because the cheapest Rolex copy sold here in China, the original stem will fit that too.

Just keep in mind, not everything you read in the forums is true or the people posting feel in their hearts that they are posting real and true information.   I remember when I bought my first replicas, they told me is was the best quality, stainless steel and everything.  I found out that nothing they told me was true.  I was lucky to have one girl whos uncle has a mfg company of Rolex Replicas, tell me the truth and teach me about hot to tell the difference in quality.

Asian 7750 Movements - Beware of the ones that have the seconds operating at 6 subdial.  At one time there was a good modified 7750 movement that was made in Shanghi. This company is no longer making these movements so all the Good movemens are gone however the Asian 7750 movements where the seconds are operating at the 9 o'clock subdial position are fine and no problems. Stay away from the modified movements, to be honest, they are junk!

Customs Police are still operating heavy at the watch market. This makes it hard for sellers to stock very much high quality merchandise.  They prefer to stock the cheaper grade replicas just in case they are caught and their stock taken by police. This makes it hard for Dropship sellers to find quality watches, they take what they can get and ship and  you end up with  poor quality or no quality control.  Many sites are telling you they have increased their quality control and now shipping better quality merchandise.  How can they do this when they are not putting their hands on the watches themselves.  The sellers are not living in China and someone buys the watch and ships for them. 

WATCH FORUMS - Someone asked us  why we are not in the Forums ???  If you look close at the FORUMS, you can see what they are doing, they are recommending  their own sites.  They dont mention us because they want the business sent to them, not us.  Its very easy to see what they are doing after you read a few posts.  We don't like to lie to our customers,  we prefer to be honest and now be a prart of dis-honest selling.  Our testimonials tell about us and you can tell ours are real testimonials and not fake.  A couple years ago I submitted our site to a few Forums so they could review us, I also posted some postings with out like in them,  Funny how our posts were deleted and we never received an answer from them about a review of our site etc.  Hmmm Guess they only wanted to send  their readers to their sites.

-- This is the biggest lie of all. All replica watches are made somewhere in Asia, mostly China. Saying that replicas are made in Switzerland or Italy is a lie intended to extract more money from the ignorant.


Lie #2: Replica watches are graded according to quality. C (or whatever) is the lowest and AAA+++ (or whatever) is the highest.

-- Who decides what is "C" and what is "A"? The "International Replica Watch Governing Board"? Pure nonsense designed, again, to get more of your dollars.


Lie #3: The movements in "Swiss made" replicas are identical to the genuine watch movements. 27 jewel movements are the best.

-- (See Lie #1 for "Swiss made".) Far from the truth. Very few replica watch movements come from anywhere but China and any watchman can immediately tell it's not genuine. There are no 27 jewels movements in replica watches; only 25, 21, or 17.


Lie #4: The best replicas are 99% true to the genuine and will even fool an Authorized Dealer (AD).

-- Not true. While some may be close (picking a number is impossible) to the genuine, all replicas are flawed. Do you really think you can spend $200 or less and get a watch that's 99% identical to a $4,000-20,000 watch? As for fooling ADs, maybe. Common clerks are easily fooled, but seasoned ADs, upon close inspection, will know it's a replica.


Lie #5: The gold on "Swiss grade" replicas is much higher than on other replicas. The crown, bezel, and mid links are solid gold and the full-gold replicas are 5-wrapped (or 6-wrapped, or whatever).

-- While a few models have been shown to have solid gold mid links (Rolex replicas), the rest of the watch is gold plated or double or triple wrapped gold. ("Search" for threads on how this is done.)


Lie #6: The best Rolex replicas are made with 904L grade steel.

-- Big fat lie. Good replicas are made with 316L quality steel. Rolex is the only company that uses 904L steel and it costs 3 times as much as 316L (one reason why they are so expensive). Replicas are not made with 440 steel, either.


Lie #7: Buying a replica watch is risky, but not if you use sellers from "Replica Review" sites.

-- What most people don't know is the "review" sites are owned and operated by the people who run the sites they recommend--it's very incestuous. These "review" sites are clever and it's easy to get taken in by their lies.


Lie #8: You can tell you're getting a good watch after a thorough examination of the web site.

Pictures of genuine watches seen in advertisements are always set to "10:10.") but send you junk.


Lie #9: Picking a good seller will always result in getting a good watch, one I won't have trouble with.

-- We wish. Quality control in replica watch factories is hit-and-miss, but mostly shoddy. One batch may be great while the next produces watches that are DOA. (Remember, making replica watches is illegal, even in China. Replica watch "factories" are usually small operations that can be easily moved or hidden from prying authorities.) What is true, though, is a good dealer will want to protect his/her reputation and will fix whatever is wrong.


Lie #10: Paying by COD is the best way to get the cheapest price. Plus, I can examine my watch before paying the courier to make sure I get what I paid for.

-- A really dumb thing to do and a huge red flag that you're dealing with a true scammer. They want cash because they know you'll scream foul to your credit card company the moment you see the junk you just paid $1,000 for.

China Customs police for the past several months have been cracking down on Fake Watches Sellers and Mfgs at the market place. Normally they will send police in one or two times a day, catch someone and take all their supply of watches and fine them 20,000 RMB and they would open again the next day.  Over the past few months they have stepped up their activity and over the past 2 weeks they are now using under cover police to catch the sellers and seem to be staying at the markets from 10 AM - 7 PM everyday. This makes it almost impossible for them to do business. Police are also bringing tools to break locks and get into their storage areas and take watches. Guangzhou is where 99.9% of ALL REPLICA WATCHES are made.  The sellers are now afraid to sell to anyone they do not know well.  If you were to come here and try to buy a fake watch, chances are you would not find any.WE ARE LUCKY BECAUSE WE KNOW EVERYONE AND WE HAVE NO PROBLEM GETTING OUR SUPPLY  This crackdown will have a large effect on the replica world.  New York replica sellers are reporting problems getting watches. We are seeing many of the smaller dealers going out of business.  This will be a large problem for sites that DROPSHIP PRODUCTS.  The reason for the problem is continued preasure from the UK and US for China to crack down on counterfiet merchandise.  Everything in China is FAKE except your mother....
